Garlic Parmesan Cheese Sauce

 

I first made this recipe to go with homemade fries. It is a delicious addition as a dipping sauce or as a drizzle on many dishes. I most recently used this sauce to top Baked Chicken Roll Ups.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoons salt (or to taste)

In a sauce pan over medium heat and add butter. Allow butter to melt and come to a light simmer.



Add garlic and let simmer until butter just about starts to brown.



Add heavy cream, black pepper, cayenne and salt; bring to a slow simmer.




Add parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Reduce heat and stir frequently until cheese is melted and begins to bubble.




Reduce heat and keep warm until serving.
