Baked Chicken Strips

Our son Parker loves chicken strips. This recipe is one that both the kids and adults will enjoy.

I like to use the chicken tenders since they are already a nice size for a chicken strip, but you can use breast or boneless thighs too.

Ingredients
  • 14 Ounces Chicken Tenders (6-7 Pieces)  (you could substitute cut up chicken breasts)
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Greek Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 Cup Butter Milk

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Prepare breading. Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and Greek seasoning.

Rinse the chicken and pat dry.

Dip chicken in buttermilk and then into the breading. Make sure the entire piece of chicken is breaded.

Place on greased, foil lined baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Brush with melted butter.

Bake additional 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

Remove from oven and let it rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Serve with BBQ sauce or ranch dressing.
