Garlic Onion Beef Roast



If you love garlic, this is a good roast recipe for you. The roast is delicious on its own with potatoes or makes great sandwiches. The juices makes a delicious gravy base or a dipping juice.

Ingredients
  • 4-5 Pound Beef Roast
  • 5 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Packet of Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 10 Ounce Can of Beef Consommé 

Peel garlic cloves and cut in half.



Make slits in the roast for the garlic. The slits should go about half way through the roast.



Push one piece of garlic into each slit.




Place roast in the slow cooker.



Sprinkle onion soup packet over the roast and add beef consommé.

 

Cook on low for at least 8 hours or until fork tender.



Keep hot until serving.
